Junior Childcare Assistant.
Description:
Work with the Senior Childcare Assistant to ensure the smooth running of your room and to ensure the welfare of the children at all times. To keep the Senior Childcare Assistant and Manager informed of any issues that may arise. To ensure standards of health and hygiene are maintained.
You will ensure that all policies & procedures are followed including daily administrative requirements. You will have the willingness to work in other parts of the branch when required and will conduct general cleaning duties of the unit when requested.
You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike. You will be enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and have a good sense of team spirit.
Requirements:
- Junior Childcare Assistants must hold a certification for a major award in childcare/early education at a minimum of level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (NFQ) or an equivalent nationally recognised qualification. Your qualification must be listed here and Meet Minimum Regulatory Requirement:
Recognised Qualifications. If your qualification is not listed there, you can apply for recognition here.
- Work experience in childcare / early childhood education (Montessori / Pre-school / Naíonraí / Childcare) an advantage.
- Manual Handling training an advantage.
- Food Handling and Preparation training an advantage.
- Child Protection: All applicants should have training in basic Child Protection.
- Paediatric First-Aid an advantage
- Some knowledge of the required industry Health & Safety standards.

Senior Childcare Assistant.
Description:
Work with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of your room and to ensure the welfare of the children at all times. To keep the Manager informed of any issues that may arise. To ensure standards of health and hygiene are maintained.
You will need to cover for the manager if requested. You will need to support the juniors, trainees and work experience staff. You will work very closely with the manager on all issues relating to your room.
You will ensure that all policies & procedures are followed including daily administrative requirements.
You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike. You will be enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and have a good sense of team spirit.

Description:
Caring for children aged 3+. Working with the the room leader to ensure the smooth running of the Pre-school room.
To ensure the welfare of the children in your care. You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike.
Working with the Pre-school leader to develop and maintain the Pre-school program with themed weeks, achieving annual programmes on time, organising outings

Description:
Developing the curriculum and caring for children aged 3+. Working with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the Naíonra. To ensure the welfare of the children in your care. You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike.
Requirements:
- Forbairt Naíonra Teoranta’s Dianchúrsa for Naíonra Director’s Accreditation.
- Good knowledge of the Irish language and of the Total-Early Immersion model essential

Afterschool Care Assistant.
Part-Time role from 1pm to 6pm
Description:
Your responsibilites will be to supervise school collections from local schools in the area. To work with the driver to ensure school collections are scheduled and on time. To keep the Manager informed of any issues that may arise. To ensure standards of health and hygiene are maintained. To supervise homework and organise activities for the children aged 4 to 10 years old.
You will have great communication skills, warm and caring personality, great rapport with adults and children alike. You will be enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude and have a good sense of team spirit.
Requirements:
- Planning / currently studying / have completed a course for a certification for a major award in childcare/early education at a minimum of level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (NFQ) or an equivalent nationally recognised qualification.
- Good knowledge of the Irish language is an advantage
- Some experience with childcare is an advantage
- Some knowledge of the required industry Health & Safety standards.
- Starting, attending or completion of First Aid certificate
- Ability to work as part of a team
